BEMBIEN is a line of accessories handmade by artisans around the world.

Enamoured by a woman on the street with the perfect woven basket bag; she exuded an effortlessness that transfixed BEMBEIN founder Yi-Mei Truxes. Truxes was inspired to create a line of bags that evoked a sense of nostalgia and perennial style. She found a small village of artisan weavers in Bali and thus BEMBIEN was born.

A bag with a heart. At the forefront of every BEMBIEN's work is their support of these precious weaving communities. It is their goal to help bring the weaver's craft into a wider market on the other side of the globe. 10% of all BEMBIEN proceeds go back to the local community in partnership with the nonprofit Nest.
